Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the website and services operated by Livecode Technologies Limited.

By accessing or using our websites, registering for our professional training courses, purchasing licensing for software (including our POS product), or contracting our software developers, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you must discontinue your access to our services immediately.

Livecode Technologies coordinates professional and corporate training courses across East Africa. When registering for any training program:

• Accuracy: You agree to provide true, current, and complete registration information. All client inputs are validated backend-side to prevent system corruption.
• Schedules and Outlines: We reserve the right to alter training dates, instructors, or structure as part of our continuous curriculum improvement process. Registered participants will be notified of major changes.
• Cancellations: Participants must request cancellation at least 7 working days prior to course commencement to qualify for refunds or transfers, subject to administrative fees.

All payments for training, consulting, and software integrations must be cleared prior to service delivery or course commencement:

• Supported Methods: We accept bank wire transfers, invoices, Paystack integrations, and Safaricom M-Pesa.
• Transaction Fees: Any fees imposed by intermediate payment processors or mobile money gateways are the sole responsibility of the customer.
• Taxes: Unless explicitly stated, quoted prices do not include Value Added Tax (VAT) or withholding tax applicable under the laws of Kenya.

You agree to use our digital assets strictly for lawful activities. The following operations are strictly prohibited:

• Attempting to bypass our Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC), access unauthorized backend API routes, or execute SQL injection payloads.
• Automated data scraping, web crawling, or stress testing of our servers without express written approval.
• Uploading files containing malicious code, viruses, or payloads designed to execute arbitrary scripts on our server infrastructure.
• Infringing upon our intellectual property rights, including duplicating course modules, slide decks, or software source code.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Livecode Technologies Limited shall not be liable for:

Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use of, or inability to use, our training material, digital products, or integrations. We provide all course material and custom software on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Livecode Technologies Limited, its directors, and employees from any claims, losses, liabilities, or legal expenses arising from your violation of these Terms.

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya.

Any disputes, controversies, or claims arising from your use of our platforms or engagement in our training courses shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Nairobi, Kenya.
